Shanna has been involved with NCSY for several years, starting as a teen participant and continuing on as an advisor and mentor. Shanna brings energy, creativity, and passion to every program she is a part of. With experience in marketing, kiruv, and informal education, she has led everything from JSU clubs to meaningful Shabbatonim. Shanna is always striving to create spaces where teens feel connected, inspired, and proud of their Judaism. She is currently pursuing advanced studies in Jewish Education, with a focus on teaching Torah in a way that emphasizes depth and personal growth.
Guided by the belief that relationships are the foundation of true impact, Shanna approaches each interaction with warmth, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for every teen. She lives by the words of Pirkei Avot: “Who is wise? One who learns from every person” – seeing every teen not only as a student, but also as a teacher with something unique to share. Outside of NCSY, she can be found baking, hiking, or traveling, and always listening to music. Shanna is so excited for another year with Southwest!
