Covid Protocols
In order to ensure a safe environment for the Shabbaton please note the following policies: This event is opened to fully vaccinated people. All requests for exemptions (and supporting documents) must be sent in writing to Rina Emerson (emersonr@ncsy.org) who will review with OU/NCSY's professional staff.
In addition to being fully vaccinated, testing is required upon entry (Will you be having testing at the door or want people to get it first?). If you have any symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has COVID, we are respectfully asking you to stay home, regardless of vaccination status or test results.
Should a teen test positive at either of those tests, they will not be able to participate in the Shabbaton.
In addition, if you have any symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has COVID, we are respectfully asking you to stay home, even if your PCR testing is negative.
PCR Testing
In order to attend teens will need to get a PCR test within 72 hours before the event at a reputable company and show proof of test at the drop off.

How to Upload Your Vaccine Info
Sign in to your NCSY Account
Click choose file under the upload vaccination section. Upload your file/picture.
Click UPDATE PROFILE at the bottom of the page and you're all set!

Covid Testing Location Info
A negative PCR test within 72 hours of the event is required. For your convenience, we are arranging for a Covid testing company to come to one location and test there.
If you have insurance, please bring that info with you and if not, you can mark uninsured. Either way - testing is free of charge. Please arrive promptly at the times listed below.
If you are not able to make it there, you will need to make your own arrangements for testing.

PCR Test
You've received your negative PCR test.
Payments Finalized
If you haven't finalized payments - you can login to your NCSY account to complete that or email soussans@ncsy.org for a personal payment link.

PACKING LIST
- Everyone is required to bring any toiletries they might need; toothpaste, toothbrush, hairbrush, shampoo, deodorant, etc. including a bath towel.
Important: Please bring a sleeping bag and/or bedding.
- Please pack appropriate clothes for the weather. The forecast is predicting hot weather.
- Sunscreen and a reusable water bottle are recommended.
- For the weekdays, please wear comfortable, casual clothing. Please bring sports clothing as well.
- Shabbat clothes consists of dress pants and button down shirts/sweater for boys and dresses or skirts for girls.
- Tefillin for boys (if you have them)
